Privacy notice

This notice explains how your personal data is handled on zaphirart.ch while the gallery is preparing to open. It will be replaced by a full notice before the shop opens.

What we collect and why

• Your email address, when you sign up for news: to send you news about ZaphirArt, such as the opening and new collections. Kept until you unsubscribe.
• Your name, email, portfolio link and message, when you send an artist enquiry: to reply to you and consider your work for the gallery. Kept for 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
• Technical data such as your IP address, browser and pages visited, when you visit the website: to run the website securely. Kept as set by Shopify.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions.

Newsletter

You only receive news if you sign up yourself. Every email we send names ZaphirArt as the sender and contains a free, simple way to unsubscribe. You can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to the address above.

Who receives your data

The website, the sign-up form and the enquiry form run on Shopify. According to Shopify’s privacy policy, personal data is received by Shopify International Ltd. in Ireland and may also be processed in Canada and the United States. Shopify states that these transfers follow its Binding Corporate Rules (Art. 16 para. 2 lit. e of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection). Switzerland recognises Ireland, and Canada in part, as providing adequate data protection.

Shopify may also use information about your visit for its own purposes, for example to improve its services and to prevent fraud. For that use, Shopify itself is responsible. You can read how Shopify uses personal information, and exercise your rights with Shopify, at privacy.shopify.com.

We do not pass your data to anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Cookies

Shopify uses cookies and similar technologies that the website needs to work. Where Shopify shows a cookie banner, you can choose whether to allow other cookies, for example for statistics.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write to infoanisa@treeoflifeguru.com. We answer as a rule within 30 days. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We will update this notice when the shop opens or when the way we handle data changes. The current version is always on this page.
